Mediterranean style custom home designed in exclusive area outside of Santa Barbara. Built by Larsen Fine Homes (Nils Larsen). The home, at approximately 4,700 GSF, is situated on a one-acre gently sloping lot. The building steps down following the slope of the property. Design considerations include situating the home to minimize impact to the more than 50 oak trees, fire resistant construction, privacy from neighbors, inclusion of quality materials expected of a home in this area, and distribution of the rooms to take advantage of the outdoor areas and site views.
